The forty weeks leading up to the birth of our daughter were crazy, fun, nervous, and exciting.
When she made her grand entrance on September 22, 2013 (2.5 years ago, for those slow at math), our life took on a new meaning. We were now responsible for another and our needs became secondary.
My extracurricular activities shifted from soccer and ultimate frisbee to swing pushing and sand castle building. Weekend excursions around the “cool” (both literally and figuratively) parts of Los Angeles were now spent scouring the suburbs for the next best park. And coffee became liquid gold.
This blog is about the moments of joy and frustration, confidence and uncertainty, and pride and disappointment that come with parenting.
